What is it about?
This course introduces the concepts and methods necessary for the successful, large-scale management of Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems. Participants will learn how to configure Red Hat Satellite 6 on a server and how to provision it with software packages. Using Red Hat Satellite, you will manage the software development lifecycle and configuration of subscribed hosts, and master host provisioning integrated with software and Ansible® configuration management. This course is based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 and Red Hat Satellite 6.15.
Who is this course recommended for?
For advanced Linux and UNIX system administrators who manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems in their daily work and wish to simplify and automate their system administration tasks using Red Hat Satellite.
Prerequisite for starting the course:
The training program has no specific educational requirements, but a degree in computer science (at the high school or college level) or an RHCE certification—or equivalent knowledge—may be considered an advantage.
