What is it about?
The DO274 – Introduction to Event-Driven Ansible course is designed for system administrators, DevOps engineers, and other technical professionals who want to learn how to create, deploy, and configure Event-Driven Ansible (EDA). It provides an introduction to how Event-Driven Ansible can be used to perform automated operations in IT infrastructure when events that are important to systems occur. The course is based on Ansible Automation Platform version 2.4.
Who is this course recommended for?
This course is designed for system administrators, DevOps engineers, network administrators, and technical professionals who are responsible for responding quickly to infrastructure or application events and are interested in automating troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Prerequisite for starting the course:
Completion of the course is not tied to any specific educational background, but a degree in IT (secondary or higher education) and/or practical experience may be an advantage. User-level experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and command line knowledge is recommended, as well as RHCSA and RHCE certification or equivalent knowledge, and familiarity with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform 2 and the automation controller. The course requires basic knowledge of Ansible command line usage, Visual Studio Code, and Git.

- Introduction to Using Event-Driven Ansible Controller – Configure Event-Driven Ansible Controller as a service that provides a rules engine for monitoring events and activating Ansible rulebooks.
- Examples of event-driven Ansible usage – Learn about some practical examples of event-driven Ansible usage.
