EX294 – RHCE Exam
Who is this exam recommended for?
- For Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administrators who wish to have their existing knowledge certified, who already hold the RHCSA certification, have completed the AU294 – Red Hat Enterprise Linux Automation with Ansible course, and wish to obtain the RHCE certification.
- For experienced Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administrators whose employers require RHCE certification or for whom holding this certification is necessary to fill a position.
- For individuals with an expired RHCE certification who have already earned the RHCSA certification
- For RHCE certification holders who wish to renew their certification.
Exam Summary
The RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) certification is available to students who already hold the RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator) certification and who demonstrate in the exam that they possess the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to become a senior Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administrator. The EX294 – RHCE exam is a 4-hour hands-on exam requiring active participation. The exam can be taken without holding an RHCSA certification, but even if the exam is passed, the candidate will not receive the RHCE certification until they have successfully passed the RHCSA exam. The EX294 exam is based on the capabilities of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10; to successfully complete it, it is recommended that you complete the basic courses related to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10. Participants may take the exam in small groups (maximum 6 people) at the time announced by ULX. Students will be notified of their exam results via email within 3 business days.
