What is it about?
The DO417 course—“Microsoft Windows Automation Using the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform”—provides an introduction to automating basic Microsoft Windows Server administration tasks using the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform. The goal of the course is for students to learn and master, through practical examples, how to automate the installation and management of Microsoft Windows servers and the operation of applications running on them using Ansible, with a particular focus on using the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform for automation. Participants will become familiar with the basic functions and application of the Ansible Automation Platform in a Windows environment. Through practical examples, they will master methods for automating infrastructure management. The theoretical and practical foundation of the course is based on Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform version 2.4.

System administrators, DevOps engineers, and developers responsible for installing and managing Microsoft Windows servers and the applications running on them using the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
Prerequisite for starting the course:
The training does not require a specific degree, but a degree in computer science (at the high school or college level) may be an advantage; basic knowledge of Windows Server administration is required.
