AD221 Course (5 days)

What is it about?

Based on the Apache Camel project, Red Hat Fuse is a lightweight, flexible integration platform that enables the rapid integration of cloud-based applications in both on-premises and cloud environments. In this course, we will review the architectural patterns and integration services recommended for use in Apache Camel and OpenShift environments during application development, testing, and deployment. The course and related exercises are based on Red Hat Fuse 7.10 and OpenShift 4.

Who is this course recommended for?

For Java application developers and software architects who want to learn about Red Hat Fuse and Apache Camel technologies and how to use them to solve integration tasks in an enterprise environment.

Prerequisite for starting the course:

The course does not require a specific degree, but a degree in computer science (at the high school or college level) is advantageous. It is strongly recommended that students have prior experience in Java development; if possible, they should have already completed the course AD183 – Red Hat Application Development I: Programming in the Java EE Environment. Knowledge of an integrated development environment, such as Visual Studio Code, is also recommended, along with experience with Maven and version control technologies, and at least a basic understanding of Red Hat OpenShift technology.
