What is it about?

This course introduces IT professionals who wish to develop automation content to the effective use of the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform. The course provides both theoretical and practical knowledge, allowing participants to learn not only how to use the technology but also best practices for developing automation, code or code snippets they can use in their work, useful techniques and considerations for creating playbooks, the basics and operation of execution environments, and how to use the Automation Content Navigator. The course is based on Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform version 2.5.

Who is this course recommended for?

We recommend this course to developers, DevOps engineers, Linux system administrators, and other IT professionals who already have a basic understanding of the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, have used it to install and configure Linux environments or deploy applications and/or services, and who wish to automate various tasks in their work and plan to develop automation scripts for this purpose, and whose role involves scaling and and optimizing them.

Prerequisite for starting the course:

There are no specific educational requirements for this course; however, a degree and/or practical experience in the field of information technology is advantageous. It is also recommended that participants have completed the RH294 course or possess equivalent knowledge, as well as hold an RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) certification for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 or a newer platform; Experience using command-line editors (e.g., vim) and basic knowledge of YAML syntax.
