RH134 Course (5 days)

What is it about?

The RH134 – Red Hat System Administration II course is a direct continuation of the RH124 – Red Hat System Administration I course, and together the two courses form the training path leading to the RHCSA exam. The course takes a task-oriented approach, with lab exercises designed to facilitate learning. After completing the tasks, we provide an opportunity to review them and discuss any questions or issues that arise. Building on the knowledge gained in the RH124 – Red Hat System Administration I course, participants will further expand their system administration toolkit, delve deeper into the details of Linux system administration, and learn about storage and file system management, the security environment, SELinux, the boot process and troubleshooting, as well as key topics in shell scripting, scheduling, container management, and image-based RHEL. During the course, students will gain proficiency in areas critical to daily operations, such as automation using shell scripts, scheduling system and user tasks, logging and troubleshooting, SELinux-based security, LVM and traditional storage management, firewall and network access management, container technologies (Podman), and the operation of RHEL systems installed and managed in image mode. The course is based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 software and technology.

Who is this course recommended for?

We recommend the RH134 course primarily to Linux system administrators who have previously completed the RH124 – Red Hat System Administration I course and work or wish to work in the field of networking/administration, or who wish to obtain the RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator) certification.

Prerequisite for starting the course:
