RH362 Course (5 days)
What is it about?
In the RH362 – Red Hat Security: Identity Management and Active Directory Integration course, participants will acquire the skills needed to configure and manage Identity Management (IdM)—a comprehensive identity management component of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. This course helps students acquire the technical knowledge most frequently requested by customers. Topics covered in the course include: centralized management and provisioning of user accounts; designing and deploying IdM server topologies; operating integrated DNS and TLS certificate authority (CA) services; managing two-factor authentication and smart card authentication; operating as a single sign-on (SSO) provider; Integration and management of two-way trust relationships established with Active Directory; and planning for troubleshooting and disaster recovery. The curriculum covers the registration of Linux clients with IdM, as well as operations in enterprise environments that use both Linux and Microsoft Windows clients and servers.
Who is this course recommended for?
For system administrators with Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification who want to learn how to design and configure centralized identity management solutions for Linux clients, as well as how to integrate them with other network services and identity management systems. For IdM engineers and experts, web application developers, and DevOps engineers and specialists.
Prerequisite for starting the course:
The training program has no specific educational requirements, but a degree in computer science (at the high school or college level) is advantageous. Holding RHCSA and RHCE certifications is recommended but not required.
