AU294 Course (4 days)
What is it about?
The RH294 course, titled "Red Hat Enterprise Linux Automation with Ansible," is primarily designed to equip advanced Linux system administrators and developers with the skills needed to perform automated provisioning, configuration, application deployment, and orchestration tasks in enterprise environments. In this course, students will learn how to install and configure the Ansible Automation Platform through hands-on exercises. They will learn how to prepare hosts for automation, how to write Ansible playbooks to execute automation tasks, and how to run these playbooks to properly install and configure servers. The course is based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10, Ansible Core 2.16, and Ansible developer tools, in line with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform versions 2.5 and 2.6. It prepares participants to take the EX294 – RHCE exam.
Who is this course recommended for?
We recommend this course to Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administrators, DevOps engineers, infrastructure automation specialists, and systems design engineers who are responsible for the following tasks in their day-to-day work:
- Automation of Configuration Management
- Consistent handling of recurring application installation tasks
- Provisioning and deployment of server environments operating in various environments (development, testing, and production)
- Integrating server environments with DevOps CI/CD workflows
Prerequisite for starting the course:
The training is not tied to any specific degree, but a degree in computer science (at the secondary or higher education level) may be an advantage; as well as passing the EX200 – RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator) exam or possessing equivalent knowledge; strong command-line (CLI) skills and in-depth knowledge of the Linux file system, as well as a grasp of basic networking concepts (SSH, IP addressing, firewalls).
